DMCA & Content Removal
We respect copyright and everyone’s right to control intimate images of themselves.
1. Intimate or private content of you
If a photo or video of you was posted without your consent (leaked, stolen, hidden-camera or “revenge” content), or shows someone under 18, you do not need to own the copyright. Email us at legal@swingplace.net with the link(s) and a short explanation, or use the Report link next to the content. These requests are handled with top priority and the content is taken down while we review.
2. Copyright infringement notice (DMCA)
If you believe content on SwingPlace infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to represent, send a written notice to our designated agent at legal@swingplace.net that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is fine).
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The exact URL(s) of the material on SwingPlace you want removed.
- Your contact information: name, postal address, phone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Valid notices are usually processed within 2 business days. We remove or disable access to the material and notify the member who posted it. Repeat infringers’ accounts are terminated.
3. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to legal@swingplace.net including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which SwingPlace may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.
If the original complainant does not notify us within 10–14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material. Counter-notices are not accepted for content involving minors or posted without the consent of the people shown.
4. False claims
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may make you liable for damages. Please make sure the content is actually yours before sending a notice.
